Step into a journey of self-discovery and confidence with my self-love and self-confidence photoshoot for women. I understand firsthand the challenge of seeing ourselves in a positive light. Yet, through the lens, I aim to help you see your true beauty, guiding you towards accepting your body and feeling better about what you consider flaws.


Embark on this path of self-discovery and empowerment, where you'll uncover your unique qualities and embrace confidence in front of the camera. Within a welcoming and secure atmosphere, reminiscent of boudoir photography, you'll have the freedom to choose how much or how little you want to reveal, as we will focus on capturing tender and gentle moments that celebrate yourself.


The standard session typically lasts 1.5 hours and includes 15 edited pictures. However, I'm here to make sure the experience suits you perfectly. We can customise the offer to fit your needs, ensuring we have enough time to explore and create a comfortable environment for you.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

WHERE CAN THE SHOOT HAPPEN?

For outdoor sessions, depending on the package selected, I can arrange for locations around the city, in a park, at the beach or even further away in nature to capture the perfect backdrop for your photos.


Additionally, if you prefer a more intimate setting, I am happy to conduct the session in the comfort of your own home, provided there's ample natural light available.


If you opt for the studio option, your session will take place in Christchurch Central.

WHEN CAN THE SHOOT HAPPEN?

My booking options are flexible to ensure your convenience. I understand that finding the perfect time for your shoot can be challenging, so I'm here to discuss and adapt to your schedule.


If you book an outdoor session, we'll keep an eye on the weather forecast and can easily reschedule if needed.


You don't have to commit to a specific date during booking; instead, we'll work together to find the best time after booking to accommodate your needs and preferences.

WHO CAN BOOK A SESSION?
who can attend on the day?

Anyone is welcome to book a portrait session! Depending on the chosen package, you can pose solo, with a partner, friends, family or even your pet.


There's no age limit for posing, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.


On the day of the shoot, to ensure a comfortable and focused environment, we ask that a maximum of two people accompany the person being photographed to minimise distractions and allow for plenty of space, especially in certain locations.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

WHAT IF IT'S MY FIRST TIME POSING?

Absolutely! It's completely understandable if it's your first time posing. I'm here to make you feel comfortable and guide you every step of the way.


If you're feeling a bit nervous in front of the camera, I recommend opting for a longer session rather than the mini package. It often takes a bit of time to get into the rhythm and relax, and a longer session allows us the time to do just that. Together, we'll create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where you can feel confident and natural in front of the camera.

HOW LONG IS A SESSION?

The duration of your shoot varies depending on the package you choose, offering flexibility to suit your needs.


If you're interested in a personalised offer, simply let me know when you book your session. We can discuss adapting the package to better meet your requirements, and I'll provide you with details on how any changes may affect the price.


Your satisfaction is my priority, and I'm here to ensure your portrait session is tailored perfectly to you.

DO YOU PROVIDE A MAKE UP ARTIST AND A STYLIST?

Makeup artist and stylist services are not included in the default package price.


However, if you require a makeup artist and/or stylist for your shoot, please inform me during the booking process. I will be happy to assist you in arranging these services for your session.


Please note that makeup artists and stylists will have their own rates, which will be added to the total price of your shoot.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

WHO WILL CHOOSE MY FINAL IMAGES?

As these images are for your benefit, I believe the decision of choosing the final pictures should be entirely yours.


However, to assist you in making the selection process easier, I'll pre-select images using my expertise. During the session, numerous images are captured, and it's my role to curate the selection by removing any missed shots, images with blinked eyes, and poses that don't work or are unflattering.


This culling process aims to simplify your choices, ensuring you have a selection of high-quality images to choose from.

HOW MANY PICTURES WILL I GET?

The number of final pictures you'll receive depends on the package you choose, offering different options to suit your needs.


If you'd like additional images beyond what's included in your package, I offer extra images for purchase. You can buy single additional images for NZ$25 each, or opt for a pack of 5 for NZ$90.


All the final images you receive will be edited, as photos are shot in RAW format and require basic processing to ensure they look their best.


How will I receive my pictures?

After the session, you'll either receive a contact sheet via email or have access to a preview gallery where you can mark your favorite images, depending on the available service at the time.


Once you've made your selections, your final images will be delivered through a secure online gallery, accessible via a password.


From this gallery, you'll have the option to download each image individually, or the entire album. You'll also be able to share the photographs with friends and family members.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

What edits are performed on the pictures?

The edits made on the pictures primarily involve basic adjustments to lighting and colours, which are necessary due to the RAW format.


Additionally, I will apply refinements to reflect a personal style, fine-tuning the final look of the picture and enhancing my vision of the shoot.


When can I expect to receive my pictures?

You can expect to receive the contact sheet or preview gallery within 24 to 48 hours to make your selection.


Once you've made your choices, I'll begin the editing process, and you'll receive your final images within approximately 7 working days.

WILL YOU retouch THE SKIN?

If necessary, I will correct minor blemishes on the skin, such as a sudden pimple that appeared just before the shoot or a stray hair that crossed your forehead at the wrong moment. This ensures that distracting elements, which wouldn't be noticeable in real life or are not part of your natural features, are removed. Additionally, I might tone down prominent shadows on the face caused by lighting, such as under-eye areas.


However, it's important to note that I will not remove anything that is a natural part of yourself or modify your body. If you wish to remove a scar or birthmark, please inform me during the booking process.


For more in-depth skin retouching, such as smoothing skin texture or reducing wrinkles, an additional fee of NZ$30 per image applies.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Who owns the rights to the pictures from our photoshoot?

While I, as the photographer, retain the copyright to the pictures from our shoots, individuals receive free usage rights for these images as well as reproduction rights for private use, allowing you to print images for personal purposes.


As a result of the copyright, it is common practice and respectful behaviour to credit the photographer when using the images. This can be done by including their name alongside the picture or tagging them on social media.


This gesture acknowledges the collaboration and respects the creative work put into capturing the images.


CAN I ALTER MY IMAGES?

I kindly request that you refrain from altering the pictures through re-editing. Each editing job requires time and effort to ensure the pictures are presented at their best within my signature style, which is why you chose me for your session.


Re-editing may compromise the quality and misrepresent my work. Let's preserve the integrity of what we created together during the session.


If there's something you're not entirely satisfied with in the final result, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm open to discussing any concerns or adjustments you may have.

CAN I USE THE IMAGES COMMERCIALLY?

If you intend to use any of the pictures for commercial purposes like advertisements, record covers, book covers, tour posters, or printed images being sold under your name, merch, you'll require specific usage rights or licensing. This typically involves a usage fee or licensing fee, which we can discuss based on the intended usage and duration.


The usage fee starts at $100.


Additionally, usage in the media may be granted for free as long as the photographer is credited.


You have free usage rights to publish the images on your website and social media platforms for business purposes such as showcasing you work or promoting yourself.
